Dallas Quill Awards Luncheon

Come celebrate with us!

The entries are in and the judging is underway, so it’s time to reserve your seat at the table for the Dallas Quill Awards Luncheon. Join with communicators and designers, business professionals and community leaders as we recognize the top achievements in business communications, management skills, thought leadership and creativity.

Judges will award the most outstanding work in categories ranging from advertising and branding to visual design and web content, so you’ll have the unique opportunity to see the best-of-the-best as you network with like-minded professionals in an award-winning environment.

Keynote Speaker


IABC Dallas is pleased to welcome Dallas native Catherine Cuellar, the noted multimedia journalist, communicator, philanthropist, and community leader.

Ms. Cuellar serves as Director of Entrepreneurs for North Texas at the Communities Foundation of Texas, which makes it easy for companies to give back to our community. She previously served as CEO of the Dallas Arts District and managed communications at Oncor, the largest electric power grid in Texas. She is also a multimedia journalist who co-founded GuideLive.com and has reported for National Public Radio stations KERA & KCRW, Sojourners magazine, Dallas Innovates, The Dallas Morning News and other news outlets.

Speaker bio
Ms. Cuellar currently serves as a director of the DFW Hispanic 100, Texas Lyceum and the Carter Albrecht Music Foundation and as an advisor for the Center for a New Generation at Boys & Girls Clubs, Junior League of Dallas, the Creative Arts Center of Dallas and I Heart Media. She is also a member of the Dallas Assembly, the Dallas Summit and the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials. In addition, she is an ordained ruling elder in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) at First Presbyterian Church of Dallas.

Ms. Cuellar was named a 2014 Next Generation Project Texas Fellow at The Strauss Center for International Security and Law at UT-Austin. In 2013, she was recognized among the Dallas Business Journal’s “40 Under 40”, made her fiction debut in the anthology Dallas Noir from Akashic Books, and sang at Carnegie Hall with the Rhodes College Singers. Ms. Cuellar was a White House Fellows regional finalist, in 2011, graduated from Leadership Women in 2008, was among the Dallas Junior Chamber of Commerce's Five Outstanding Young Dallasites in 2007, and co-founded La Reunion TX in 2006.

Ms. Cuellar lives in the Cedars district of Dallas with her husband Paul Williams, an accomplished recording engineer and music producer who co-founded indie label State Fair Records and teaches at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts.
