Volunteer Reward Program

IABC Dallas is making the world a better place, one communicator at a time. It’s all about doing good with what we know – donating our time and skills – to support our chapter and local nonprofits.

The IABC Dallas Heroes volunteer reward program not only matches you with volunteer professional development opportunities within IABC Dallas, but also matches you with local nonprofits who need the kind of amazing skills and talents our members and nonmembers possess to help them meet their communication goals.

Plus, if you end up being one of our top three Super Heroes, we’ll reward you with a cash grant to be given to the charity of your choice.

How does the IABC Dallas Heroes program work?

  1. Members and nonmembers can sign up to be a volunteer here . Enter in your information, interests and skills. Be sure to remember your ID and password. You’ll need those later.

  2. Check out the volunteer professional development opportunities available here . See something you like? Contact our VP of Volunteer Recruitment and Recognition at volunteers@iabcdallas.com to learn more and get your assignment.

  3. Throughout your volunteer assignment, be sure to track your hours on the volunteer hour tracker system here .

  4. Then in May, at the annual Dallas Quill Awards, we’ll announce the top three Heroes, based on number of volunteer hours. If you are one of our top three winners (regardless of whether you are a member or not), we’ll reward you with a cash grant* to be given to the charity of your choice. *The amount of the grant depends on your membership status.
